Junkyard Pipe Dream

SO! A while back (sometime in April I think) I saw an Ad on Deviantart at the top of my page. But this wasn't any normal Ad, mind you. This was for New Era's "Introducing" hat contest. What is that might you ask? I'll let New Era explain: [link]

Now I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the final product (NE has one up on the finalists page). But I did put together a quick making-of as part of the entry. This documents the process from 2D illustration to final 3D product. And while I show a lot of time lapse video from the digital side of the piece, I talk more about the inspiration and only touch on technique in a few spots: [link]

Because I still have all the raw un-cut screen recordings of the painting process I'm considering doing another full fledged video tutorial. Before I get started though I'm curious to see a show of hands; do you guys like watching video tutorials like the one I did for "The Weather EP", or do you prefer written tutorials like the one I did for "Rain Dance"?
