Description
A little sneak peek at the first piece for David Luong's digital matte painting course. Having a blasty blast working on this so far. It's been fun being able to get into all the separate shapes from the original color thumbnail and start to break down the layers for each segment.
Lots to do still, and plenty to address before refinement phase; namely water reflections, rock scaling, cliff edges, value adjustments, highlights, reflected lights, etc. I've never really had to get this analytical about an environment before so I'm quickly learning the patience involved in going over every-last-detail. Haha.
