[Enter epic fantasy description here]

Well i just posted this image to reddit recently and some actually DID make an epic fantasy description. The reddit user "that_gave_me_an_idea" wrote up this scene entirely on the spot based off this image. This was too cool:

"She'll make it, now stop worrying."
Tsarin looked at the wound on Keisers leg. The gash was deep and the blood was showing no signs of stopping. He could only hope that Eladra would be able to make it.
She knew she would regret it. Most times when entering a new stretch of forest she spoke with the trees. A few simple touches here, a shared bit of silence there was all it took. Then she would be in communion with the area. Able to feel and sense through the trees. Able to hear the whispers of the moss and use her heritage to be at home in any forest. But time was short and the Forest Hag was on her trail.
A week ago they came in to find why the Tree Mages had not sent word in months. The Lord of the area grew curious and sent his best to investigate. The best adventurers went in two weeks ago and vanished. That's what brought Eladra and her people. Not the best, but just crazy enough to go on such a quest. None of them expected a Forest Hag. A creature of immense power who used dark magic and unnatural ways to bind with the land in a way so strong she controlled it. Trees could bend to her will, streams could change direction at her choosing and the beasts themselves would hunt for her alone. Keiser should have known better but the young Temple Brother had never been overwhelmed by such evil in his entire life. He reacted on instinct when he lunged at the Hag. Her attack was brutal and only his armor saved him. Tsarin was quick with his ward and pushed her evil back. His might almost matched hers and gave her enough of a shock to send her away. Now it was up to Eladra to make it out and find help for her wounded partner. He will not live the night and they will need more than her arrows and Tsarins spells to stop the Hag.
She turned the corner and saw the path they took earlier. But something was off. The same rocks near it looked familiar. Then she realized, she had seen them many times before. This was an illusion. She fired an arrow into a tree. Hoping it would be a marker as she navigated the forest. A snapped twig alerted her and with reflexes of a spider she turned and let lose a volley. A deer burst free coming right at her. Arrows pinned to its chest and head. But why would it be running towards her? Why into the noise she was making? It was running from something worse than her. The noise was deafening as the pack of wolves exploded from the brush. She hit the first with several more shots. Hoping her quiver had time to create more arrows. Barely dodging the attack of another she regained her footing and moved for thicker foliage. Too thick for them but good enough for her to get a shot off. As she loosed two more shots she felt the coolness on the back of her neck. She ducked out of instinct and turned to be face to face with her pursuer. Keiser would have to wait for that healer.
