My only fear however is dropping some cash and not being able to profit in the end.
So, un fortunatly, my journals don't generate enough traffic for this question to really be accurate, but here goes: If you would purchase a print, what size/style of print would you be willing to pay for? As of right now the largest size would be 16X24 but depending on requests i can move it up to 20X30 if need be.
If the answers get serious enough, i would be more than happy to pay the artist fee. But i'll need some honest commitment from you peeps as well
Anyway, mull it over and lemmie know what you think

enter a contest or two that win you a subscription, or ask in a journal entry if someone will buy you a subscription. People are SO generous around here.
Once you've got that, your prints can be posted and customised free.
I haven't paid a cent on here yet. D:
because i did a lil reading on the rules of print submissions and it SOUNDED to me like the DA subscribers don't pay for prints, but reap the benifits of profit if they're sold?
well this has just opened up a whole new realm of posibilities if i could find someone nice enough to donate a subscription for me
thanks for the idea
Actually, the way they have it set up here could really use some changes.. You'd probably be better off just advertising that you sell prints, but actually getting money off it from paypal or something. The aministrators get way more than 10% of the profits- - like if I were to sell something for 40.00, i'd only get about 7.00. You know?
Look into it a little more-- I don't know the details down to the last point, but I did notice for sure that artists on here get majorly ripped off..
but thanks again for the heads up...ill give it a shot
